While a clinical therapist helps the client understand how the past influences the present, the well-being coach focuses on the present and helps the client move forward with intention and purpose. That doesn’t mean we dismiss the past. We acknowledge that and move forward. Well-being coaching and clinical psychotherapy are often complimentary.
